THE LATE DOREEN MCKITTRICK
All at Fingallians GAA were very sad to hear of the recent passing of Doreen McKittrick, mother of Susan, Stephanie, Fr. Brian and club stalwarts David and Derek McKittrick.
Doreen was a part of the fabric of Swords and assisted many through her long-time involvement in the Swords I.C.A. Thousands have benefitted from her efforts but she was never one to take credit.
Doreen McKittrick recognised and promoted the importance of the GAA's community involvement and this is evidenced by her family's deep involvement in the Association that is continuing through her grandchildren and will continue through her great-grand children and beyond.
Réalt eile múchta ón spéir ach cuimhneoimid go deo í. Suaimhneas síoraí dá hanam.

Coaching Committee
It was great to see so many of our coaches attending the Athletic Development workshop. We encourage all mentors to attend these workshops. Loads more planned through the year. It was great to see lots of teams putting into practice what was discussed and demonstrated on the night. Thanks to Ger and all on the committee for their work and Tadgh Carroll for giving the presentation and practical session on the night.
Mentors, If you do have not a copy of the recently Launched Handbook, it is available behind the bar at any time when the Club is open. The Handbook has been widely praised and requested by clubs the length and breadth of the island.
Make sure you use it as a reference.
