On this Valentines day we would like to send our appreciation to all our volunteers who show such commitment to our club.  The season is getting off to a start and we want to say a big thank you to all of you who give so much of your time.  Also none of this can be done without the continued support of our sponsors.

Looking forward, once again to hosting the Swords Memory Café in the club this Thursday 16th February.  With Love in the air we know it's going to be a very enjoyable morning with plenty of chat, song and dance. We will also be joined by a speaker with information on the Fair Deal Scheme. Please spread the word and all are welcome tp drop in.

Juvenile Section

Our U8s camogie had a wonderful surprise on the last day in Gormanston.
For their comradery, team spirit, super smiles and great skills our little super stars were awarded GORMANSTON U8 TEAM OF THE TOURNAMENT.
Their coaches and parents were so proud of them all. They will have a special little opportunity for medals, certs and photos with the plaque very soon.  Well done all involved and a special thank you to Siobhán McCann of the Fins Minor Camogie Team for coming along to encourage and support the girls.

Well done to our U/9 boys and coaches who put up great performances during their weeks in Gormanston at the Indoor Hurling Blitz.

U/11's Trip to Parnell Park

Our U/11 Boys enjoyed a wonderful day on Sunday where together with Commercials they played in the Half Time Exhibition game at the Dublin v Antrim National Hurling League game. Their skills were even displayed live on TG4 & go raibh math agat a Naoise for the lovely words! They also, of course, got to see a good Dublin victory and see our own Darragh Power making his League debut with Dublin & enjoying a fine game.

U/15 Boys

Well done to our U/15 boys with a good win in their first Feile football game.

Noel Group Winter Hurling Blitz

Our Noel Group Winter Hurling Blitz finished up last week with a large turnout and a great evenings hurling.  Many thanks to to Siobhán Kinsella of our sponsor Noel Group for coming along to present the medals and goodie bags to all the boys and girls.

Our 2006 girls held their Graduation Night last Friday and by all accounts had a super night. Thanks to Colin our Chairperson for coming down to speak to the girls and thanks also to the mentors and parents who worked hard to make the night such a success.

Particular thanks to 'Future Events Hire' and the new McCartans Pharmacy Millers Glen for all the support to make the night very special for the girls.
