Cover Pic: Memory Café Swords in partnership with CareChoice
We’re delighted to announce that we are partnering with CareChoice Swords to hold the first dementia friendly memory café in the area. The Café will be held at Fingallians GAA Club on Thursday 8th December between 10.30am – 12.30pm.
The Café is for people in the Swords community and surrounds whom are living with dementia, their carers and community members who want to foster a dementia inclusive local community for the Swords area.
Tea, Coffee and some baked treats will be served from 10.30am, with an introduction to the Café at 11am and The Fingal Community College Choir will be performing some Christmas Carols for you from 11.30am.

Official Opening of the New Training Area and Ball Wall

The Official opening of our new All-Weather Training Facility and Ball Wall will take place this Saturday (3rd December) @ 10.30. We are delighted to be welcoming two of our Government Ministers, Darragh O'Brien and Jack Chambers. After the official opening we will be having refreshments in the hall.
Our new facility has the most modern all weather surface that is available and has been built to the highest standards. Costing over €250,000 it was built following receipt of a significant Sports Capital Grant and also over €100,000 of club funds which has been raised over a number of years including the GAA draw. This new facility will greatly improve our clubs training facilities and will no doubt significantly improve our young players training environment for many years to come.
We will also be relaunching our Ball Wall sponsorship with Noel Group on Saturday. Thanks again to Siobhán Kinsella and Conor Loughran of the Noel Group for their continued commitment to the club.

With the season now coming to a close, just a reminder that from Monday 19th December the lights will not be available but will be back in use from Tuesday 3rd January.
Our U/16B's are still going strong in the Championship and will be in the Final this Saturday @ 2pm away.

GAA for Dads & Lads’ is a social hurling and football programme for those keen to enjoy Gaelic Games outside the traditional competitive structures of the GAA.
With an emphasis on the social interaction and enjoyment that only team sports can provide, GAA for Dads & Lads is about keeping fun and participation to the fore of hurling/ football regardless of age or experience. The games allow incidental contact only (to minimise risk of injury) so skills are to the fore over physicality. So regardless of whether you are a recently retired great, a lapsed player looking to reconnect with the game you once loved, or completely new to Gaelic Games and looking to try your hand at a bit of hurling or football, ‘GAA for Dads & Lads’ could be for you.

Our U7 boys enjoyed a great day building friendships and strengthening team spirit down in Turvey Nature Reserve last Sunday.
