Cover Pic: The biggest club in the Swords Parade
Making our way back to the club for fun and refreshments with Garda assistance
What a weekend of activity in the club. It was great to celebrate St. Patricks Day marching through the streets of Swords in the Parade once again. The crowds from Colaiste Choilm to the bottom of North Street were unbelievable. Thanks to all our members for coming out in force.
Thanks to Claire and all the Bar Staff for doing a tremendous job on the day. Every corner of the club was busy. Great entertainment in the hall with our Irish Dancers followed by a disco with Dave. Coinneach and Friends lifted the roof in the bar with great ballads and music. The burger stand was busy all day long. A truly super day was had by all.

Awards Night "Extra"
Another busy night was had in the club again on Saturday night with Part II of the Club Awards night. The focus this time was on the Mens Football with Conor Kelly receiving a well deserved 2021 Player of Year. Congrats Conor!
Highlight of the evening was the final award of the year which was the Hall of Fame and the club were delighted this year to honour our own hero and famous Multi All Ireland and Multi All Star winner Paul Flynn. Over many years Paul has represented the club at the top elite level with honour and distinction and despite the pressure that this always entailed he continued to make a significant contribution in the club always making himself available to all our members young and old. A more detailed note on all of Paul's achievements and contributions will follow in a future notes section but in the meantime we recognise and congratulate Paul and the Flynn family on this award from his own. This, of course, doesn't mean there should be any retirement thoughts or the like and we look forward to many more years of seeing Paul leading our senior footballers!

Adult Games
Not as much action as usual on the pitch at the weekend but last Wednesday saw our Senior Footballers play their third League game at home v Round Towers Lusk. It was a very evenly contested game, ending in a draw at the final whistle. Our other adult footballers were in action also with our Junior 1 losing narrowly v Thomas Davis, while our Junior 2 enjoyed a good win v Clontarf.

Our first team Adult Camogie played a challenge game against the Dublin Minor team on Sunday morning.
It was an honour and privilege to be considered by Dublin Management for the game.
The girls rose to the occasion and matched Dublin's physicality all over the pitch even though the score went against us.
Jerseys sponsored by Reade Pensions & Financial Services.

U/8 Boys
The boys had a very successful morning out in O'Toole's on Saturday. The home crew also put in fantastic performances against Na Fianna.
Some fabulous ground hurling on display from the U8 boys. Also some great blocking and tackling.
The boys battled hard for one another, took some hard knocks and kept going till the end.
We had a flurry of goals too, lots of scores spread across all players. The best display of hurling we have seen from them to date. It's great to see all their hard work in training paying off on match day!
Well done to all.
