Cover Pic: The Cup visits the Nursery/Academy
There was huge excitement in the Nursery/Academy last Saturday when the Intermediate Hurling County Champions came to visit with the Cup. Big thank you to the lads who took time to drop in considering they were playing in the Leinster Qualifier the next day. We hope this will go on to inspire our youngest members to follow on in their footsteps.

Adult Hurlers Sponsored by Ruby's
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ruby's for the Sponsorship of our Adult Hurlers this year. It has definitely been a 'recipe for success' and we hope our partnership will continue into the future.
With the Leinster Qualifier ending in a draw after extra time the lads unfortunately lost out on penalties on the day. We wish Castleknock the best of luck in Leinster. We all wish captain Ian Kennedy a speedy recovery from injury suffered in the game. The hurlers have asked us to thank everyone in the club who again came out in great numbers on Sunday and indeed right through their great journey.
Congratulations to our Minor Camogie team who had a great win over Ballinteer St. John's in their first championship match last Sunday, 2-11 to 1-04. Next up is a home game v Whitehall on 5th December.

Rob Massey
Rob Massey and Rob with Sam on the right.
It was with great sadness that we learned of the recent passing of Rob Massey.
Rob coached with the 2013 group in the Academy before he became ill, helping every Saturday and was great with all the kids.
It meant the world to Rob that Sam, his son, played with Fingallians and how proud he was to see what a great player and teammate Sam has become.
We send our sincerest condolences to Susan, Sam and to all his family and friends.
