Our own Paul Flynn winning possession over Kieran Donaghy in 2011
Saturday evening we had the Dublin Football Team of 2011 welcomed to the Club by the County Board who were celebrating 10 years to the day since that famous win over Kerry in the All Ireland Final. And as they say the rest is history. A great evening was had and a huge thank you to Claire and Staff who made the lads very welcome.
Match Results & Fixtures
1st Team Hurlers v Naomh Mearnóg
Adult Hurlers sponsored by Rubys
2nd Team Hurlers v Ballinteer
A tough weekend for our hurlers with our 1st team losing narrowly to Naomh Mearnóg after a high tempo close game while our 2nd Team lost out to Ballinteer. However, following wins in their first round matches both teams can qualify for the quarter finals with wins in a fortnight's time.
This Saturday sees our Senior Footballers heading to Malahide for a local championship derby v Sylvesters with a 5.30 throw In. Both teams were defeated in their first games making this a crucial game for both. Our 2nd team also need a win on Sunday morning away to Lucan. Lets get out & support the lads.
Our ladies footballers also have crucial games this week where we have a double header on Wednesday 22nd in Lawless Park with our Senior Ladies playing Cuala and our Junior 1 playing Olafs. Again please support the ladies.
Best of luck also to our Adult Camogie team who will be competing in their Shield Final on Sunday @ 3pm with home advantage. This team have only been together for a few short months and are really enjoying competing in League and Championship this year. Fingers crossed for a win.
