Yes things were a bit different this year in the Club on the day of the All Ireland but none the less a great evening was had by all. Great selection of food from Rubys, Coinneach providing the brilliant music with Claire and staff doing a super job. Congrats to all our Tyrone members on a super win and commiserations to all our Mayo supporters.
Hurl Repairs
If you need any hurls mended or bands replaced we will now have a weekly facility. First Team Camogie manager Mick Kennedy has kindly volunteered to help and will be using Seosamh Breathnach Hurley Repairs. Mick will be collecting hurls at the club on Thursday evenings between 5.15pm - 5.45pm and 7.15pm - 8.15pm. Cost should be around €8 and your fixed hurl should be returned to you within 10 days. All hurls must be clearly named. Please contact Mick if you have any inquiries (087 254 4651)
Match Fixtures
Our Senior footballers were in action in their first group game in the championship over the the weekend and came out on the wrong side of a hard fought battle with Erins Isle. All eyes on the next outing on Sat 25th , the local Derby v St. Sylvesters.

Following on from our minor hurlers league success, the lads had a 2-26 to 3-15 win over Thomas Davis in their opening championship group game at the weekend. Our second team Minor Hurlers also had a fantastic win beating Scoil Uí Chonaill. Well done to all involved.
With a good win the first day in the championship our Minor footballers are on the road on Sunday morning away to Naomh Barrog.

We had three great wins for all 3 Junior Ladies Football teams last week. Well done all involved. This week our Senior Ladies will commence their Championship campaign v St. Brigids in Abbottstown on Wednesday. Best of luck to all & please support the ladies. Our Div4 will be playing on the main pitch v Foxrock Cabinteely and Junior 9 play in a top of the league clash with Roundtowers Clondalkin in Balheary.

Our adult hurlers continue their championship campaigns this weekend. 1st team are away to Naomh Mearnog at 6pm on Saturday evening in Portmarnock in what is a repeat of the Intermediate championship final from last year. Best of luck to the lads and lots of support would be a great help. Then on Sunday morning at 11am our 2nd team are away to Ballinteer.

Juvenile Section
Championship started last weekend for our U/16 footballers with a draw against St. Annes while our U/15 hurlers lost out to Ballinteer in the first match of their Feile campaign. Meanwhile our U/14 Hurlers had some great Cup wins and our U/13 Hurlers continued their unbeaten run in the League with 6 wins from 6.
Our new Referees taking charge in their first games last Saturday at the U/8s blitz. They did a fantastic job. Well done !
