Cover Pic: Action shot from Fingal Independent from our 'Club Samhraidh'
Club notes are back after a short Summer break. Even during that break, there has been plenty of activity at all levels and codes.
Our Adult Footballers had their last round of league matches with the seniors overcoming Raheny and also a good win for our juniors.
Our Adult Hurlers finished up their league with two wins.
Our ladies Footballers also saw good wins for both three Junior Teams and our Seniors. They now have important matches tonight with the Seniors playing in the league, Junior 2 in Championship & Junior 1 Team playing in the Shield Final at home @7.15 on the main pitch. Further details below.
Our Minor Hurlers continue also had wins to keep their 100% record and have now qualified for the league final.
Fantastic summer of Camps with our first year of Club Samhraidh. With Championship for all our teams swiftly approaching and the Nursery/Academy starting back with on the 28th August there is lots to look forward to for all our members.

Summer Clubs 2021
Our Summer Clubs proved to be a huge success despite Covid restrictions. We received a great response from parents and participants alike. A lot of work went on behind the scenes to make sure we got things up and running. A big thank you to all the organisers, coaches and helpers for their fantastic work throughout. Thanks to Liam O'Culbáird for coming up with the initiative of 'Club Samhraidh'. It also was a great success and we're hoping that it will be a regular feature of our Summer Schedule. Is léir gur bhain na páistí agus na daoine fásta idir taitneamh agus tairbhe as an gcampa agus tá muid ag súil go mbeidh líon páistí níos mó againn an blian seo chugainn.

Sophie McKeating, Sarah-Beth Counihan and Éabha Gargan
Best of luck to Sophie, Sarah-Beth and Éabha who started their five week training with U14 (2007) Dublin Camogie Development Academy. We wish them the very best in their training.
Coaching Initiative
Some wise words for our teams from Brendan Cummins
With many of the Juvenile teams taking a break over the last few weeks, the teams were very grateful that the Hurling Coaching Initiative with coaching by many of our senior hurlers & coaches decided not to take a rest and even included one session with guest coach & RTE Sunday Game analyst Brendan Cummins. These sessions continue this weekend with the younger group (U8-10) on Friday evening and the older group (U11-15) on Sunday morning. The feedback from team mentors is that huge improvements can already be seen in those players who are regularly attending. For further details of times, players should contact their team mentor.
As we will soon be getting back to action maybe you could spread the word to neighbours and friends and encourage them to give GAA a go. If they contact us on fingallians@gmail.com we can put them in touch with the relevant mentors.
You can find a full list of fixtures for the Juvenile section on Dublingaa.ie.
