Following 14 years working in the club we are sad to announce that Feidhlim Hardy has decided to leave his role in the club at the end of the month. Since joining in 2007 Feidhlim has worked tirelessly to help improve the club whether it is with all the activities inside the club bar, hall and meeting rooms or overseeing all the activities & improvements around the club grounds. Everyone in the club has had Feidhlim’s support with whatever activity was taking place and he always did it without any fuss. We have all seen many good days at the club with Feidhlim whether it was at a private party, a large celebration like St Patricks Day or simply dropping in for a drink at the bar and we are sure many individuals will want to personally say thanks to him over the next few weeks. For the many players who have won leagues & championships over those years they will all remember those great celebratory nights and the famous chant when the cup came home “Fill it up Feidhlim fill it up !!” Having Nathan, Faye and Daniel playing on our under age teams we know Feidhlim will still be around actively supporting the club. Everyone at the club thanks Feidhlim for his huge contribution and wishes him & his family the very best of luck and every success.

The Golf Society
Last Friday afternoon saw the second of five Golf Society outings take place in Forest Little with 46 players. Some great shooting was only fitting for such a great day. Caolan Kennedy shot an incredible 5 under par round of 66 on the Swords course but this only came second to Daithí Crowley's outrageous 47 points. Eamon Gargan Jnr won the junior division with 4 participants taking to the course. Refreshments were enjoyed once again back in The Courtyard which capped off a great day.
The next outing after Friday will be 23rd of July in Corrstown. New members of all abilities and ages would be very welcome.
For further details on joining the society please contact Barry Rodgers @ 086 8540223.
