We hope you all had a great Easter weekend. In Fingallians we had a super Art Competition for our younger teams. There was plenty of hurls, sliotars and footballs to be seen along with splendid Easter Eggs. We had a drive-through prize giving which the kids seemed to really enjoy, Congratulations to all our winners.
Also over the Easter Weekend we erected the flags of the thirty two counties on the main pitch along with the National flag, the flag of the Irish Republic and the Starry Plough. This project was twofold: to commerorate the 105th anniversary of the proclamation of the All Ireland Republic during Easter Week 1916 and secondly to remember the people of Ireland from all counties, who have passed away as a result of Covid 19. Return to Play
We will hopefully see inter county teams back on the 19th April. Then from the 26th April all our Juvenile teams up to Minor will be back training in their pods.
But in the meantime, we have been asked by the County Board to remind people that our GAA club grounds must stay closed.
Fingallians GAA Online Bingo

Congratulations to all our winners in last Saturday nights Bingo. We gave away €2,250 in cash prizes and a big thank you to Alpha Bouncing Castles for their €100 voucher. We are looking forward to another fun filled evening next Saturday and the prize money is going to be raised to €2,500 !!! So don't miss out.

As before when you purchase your books online you'll receive an email confirming your purchase, you'll receive your book(s) and link to the zoom call through email on Thursday the 8th of April. You should then print your book. If you have issues with printing books let us know and we will do our best to sort it.
Ladies Football
We have now collected 139 cards for our Lidl campaign which means if we get to 150 we will have secured 3 sets of jerseys. So please if you shop in Lidl do not forget to use the app. Thanks to everyone so far for your support.
Membership
Because we are almost back to play, if you have not paid your memebership already we ask that you please consider doing so now. All players must have their membership paid prior to taking part in any training or games.

The Clubs History
Dave McKittrick giving us some recent history of our Ladies Football section.
This weeks two pictures are from our U14 Feile Girls of 2002. They were Dublin Winners and then went on to represent their county in the All Ireland Feile. They reached the final only to be beaten by Cork winners (Beara).
Many of the team were the backbone of the ladies section as they rose from within the Junior ranks all the way to the Senior Div 1. That journey saw them winning Dublin and Leinster Junior championship in 2003 only losing out in the All Ireland final to Gabriel Rangers of Cork. In 2004 they then won the Intermediate Championship and some years later the Senior championship and league in 2013.
Many of the girls are still involved throughout the club, with some having also enjoyed great success in the Dublin County jersey in underage and adult teams. All these stories of great individual and team achievements will be for another day.
