Fingallians GAA online Bingo

We are now on the final countdown to our online Bingo.
Saturday March 27th at 7.30

It promises to be a great evening of fun with €2,000 in prizes.

When you purchase your books online you'll receive an email confirming your purchase you'll receive your book(s) and link to the zoom call through email on Thursday the 25th of March. You should then print your book. If you have issues with printing books let us know and we will do our best to sort it.

Please spread the word amongst family and friends, it can stretch outside Dublin. We have books being bought from all over Ireland and abroad too.  But make sure you get in before the deadline.

Coaching Webinars

This week it's the turn of  Dr Áine McNamara. The topic will be 'Building a Culture to develop young players'.  Should be of great interest to all, Coaches, Players and parents of players. We would encourage you to attend if at all possible. Dr Áine will discuss implementing an appropriate player development process within the club, the purpose of which is to help all players make the most of their potential. It focuses on the long term development of players, from when they first walk into the club, to when they hang up their boots, and beyond. Go to Clubzap to register or click below

Ladies Football

Again, huge thanks to all who have been collecting stamps on the Lidl app.  We now have 1 set of  jerseys and are aiming for a second.  It's not too late to start collecting.

Back to Play

Depending on the Covid situation, there is now a possibility of a return to sport on April 5th. Leo Varadkar stated that more outdoor activity is a real possibility.  So fingers crossed we'll get back to play pretty soon.

In the meantime, we have been asked by the County Board to remind people that our GAA club grounds must stay closed. Dressing rooms, gyms, showers, and all other indoor training facilities should remain closed for activities. No indoor meetings can be held.

Membership

Our membership payment for 2021 is available online and the early bird offer has been extended.  It is very important for the club to get membership paid up as soon as possible. Despite Covid we still have many outgoings.
You can pay online at the link below.

The Clubs History
As most of us are aware Fingallians is one of the oldest clubs in Dublin and has a very rich history.  It is our intention to start gathering this information and creating a record for all to see. Huge debt of gratitude is owed to Dave McKittrick who down through the years has collected a considerable amount of photos and paper clippings and has an amazing amount of knowledge of the history of the club. I'm sure there are many of you out there with stories to tell of match days.  So if you think that you might be able to help with any photos, newspaper articles, old match programmes or any memorabilia in relation to Fins through the years please get in touch.
