Membership 2016:
Membership is now due. There is no increase in the fees for 2016. Forms are available from the club bar and at the academy each Saturday morning. Application forms can also be downloaded from the clubs web site www.fingallians.com To Qualify for priority All Ireland tickets, membership must be paid by the 29th Feb 2016.
Valentines Day
FREE: The club will host a free raffle on Valentines Night. There are no tickets available but anybody who supported the club in the Christmas Draw will be entered. There will be live music from 6 – 9pm.
Leaving Cert
Our Grúpa Comhrá / Irish Conversation Group for Leaving Cert students will start on Tuesday 23rd February from 8-9pm in the clubhouse. This will run until the oral exams start in April. Saor in aisce agus fáilte roimh chách.
Easter Camp
This year’s dates are Monday 21st March to Thursday 24th March. It will be a combined hurling & football camp for boys & girls aged 4 – 13 years. Further info and applications to follow.
Athletic Update
Well done to Sarah Murray & Bronwyn Keogh recording PB’s in the 60M & 200M at the AAI games in Athlone over the weekend. Rachel Murray competed in the 400M and Anne Marie Torsney competed in the Shot.
Comórtas Ealaíona / Art Competition
The Fingallians Primary School Art competition will be held again this year. Prizes will be awarded to winners of 3rd / 4th class and 5th / 6th class groups. Winners will be selected during Seachtain na Gaeilge by a celebrity judge. Max size will be A3. Entries must be received by the club by 1st March. Entries will be on display during Seachtain na Gaeilge, 1-17th March. The theme this year is: Éirí Amach na Cásca, 1916. Tuilleadh eolais ó liamoculbaird@gmail.com
Blood Donor Clinic
The bloodbank will be in the club on Wed 17th and Thurs 18th Feb from 3 – 5pm and 7 – 9pm. They will also attend on Sunday 21st Feb from 12.30pm to 4pm. For further information please go to www.giveblood.ie
Responders
They will hold a public information meeting on February 23rd 2016 in the Old School House bar at 7.30pm where we will have speakers from CFR Ireland and the National Ambulance Service. We are asking club members to support this important addition to the community and help raise the profile of the group to the wider community.
