Well done

to the Dubs on their 3 weekend victories. The hurls won the Walsh cup and the Mens & Ladies footballers both beat the Kingdom at home in the National League.


U10 Squad:

A big thank you to Ciarán Kilkenny & Opel Ireland for organising a specialist dual training session on Sunday morning. It was followed by a very entertaining Q & A with Ciarán.

Easter Camp:

This year’s dates are Monday 21st March to Thursday 24th March. It will be a combined hurling & football camp for boys & girls aged 4 – 13 years. Further info and applications to follow.

Cake Sale:

Scoil Rince Ní Rua will hold a cake sale at this Saturday morning's academy from 10.00-11.30 This Irish dancing school has provided many of our Scór dancers through the years and Fingallians are currently Dublin Scór na nÓg county champions. There will be a multitude of entertainment provided on the morning.

Irish Week:

Attention adult football teams. The Seachtain na Gaeilge Peil trí Ghaeilge 7 a side competition will be held at Somerton, Castleknock on 5th March. Use your Irish and get game time as we enter the season. Further info from Liam 086 3814422

Athletic Update:

Well done to Junior athletic Anne Marie Torsney who came 2nd at the Shot in the National Indoors and Bronwyn Keogh who came 3rd in both the 60M & 200M.

Comórtas Ealaíona / Art Competition:

The Fingallians Primary School Art competition will be held again this year. Prizes will be awarded to winners of 3rd / 4th class and 5th / 6th class groups. Winners will be selected during Seachtain na Gaeilge by a celebrity judge. Max size will be A3. Entries must be received by the club by 1st March. Entries will be on display during Seachtain na Gaeilge, 1-17th March. The theme this year is: Éirí Amach na Cásca, 1916. Tuilleadh eolais ó liamoculbaird@gmail.com
1916: This Saturday (6th Feb) the club hall will host ‘Fingal Volunteers during the Easter Rising’. This will be hosted by the Fingal Old IRA 1916-21 Commemorative Society from 2 – 5pm.

FREE:

The club will host a free raffle on Valentines Night. There are no tickets available but anybody who supported the club in the Christmas Draw will be entered.

Club Recycling Drive 2016:

Bags of all clean unwanted clothes, Bed linen, towels, shoes, bags & soft toys can be dropped into the club bar any evening from 7 – 9pm or on Saturday mornings from 10 – 12am. No Household Bric-A-Brac.

First Responders:

They will hold a public information meeting on February 23rd 2016 in the Old School House bar at 7.30pm where we will have speakers from CFR Ireland and the National Ambulance Service. We are asking club members to support this important addition to the community and help raise the profile of the group to the wider community.

Last week’s numbers were: 03, 12, 16, 30 & 31. There was no winner. The jackpot on Tuesday night is: €5301.
