Intermediate Football Championship: We defeated Good Counsel, in round two, on Sunday afternoon 0-21 to 1-13. We will now meet St Finians, Swords in the quarter final this Wednesday at 7.30pm, again in Balgriffin.

Ladies Football: Top of the table clash - Our Senior Ladies play Ballyboden St Enda’s on Wed evening in the Division 1 league.

2016 Ladies All Stars: Well done to Sinead Finnegan on her nomination for 2016 TG4 awards as she looks to make it two in a row. Seven other Dubs have also been nominated for the awards. The ceremony takes place on Saturday 12th November in the City West Hotel.

U13 Girls: Well done to our U13 Footballers who convincingly won their championship semi-final against old rivals Beann Éadair. They now face Ballyboden St.Enda’s in the Division 3 Championship County Final. Date to be announced.

Athletic News: Olympian high jumper, Deirdre Ryan will host her 2nd workshop on Saturday 15th October for Fingallians A.C. The high jump workshop will take place at Santry Stadium at the indoor arena.

Comhrá 2016: This Wednesday (12th October) will see the club participate in Comhrá ‘16. This is a continuous Irish language conversation taking place throughout the world from Ballydehob to Beijing over a 7 day period. Each group will take up the conversation for their allocated slot. Fingallians GAA will participate on Wednesday from 9-10pm, picking up from a group in Edinburgh and passing on to a group in Cork. The group will be broadcasted live on Youtube. Another great way to celebrate the Irish Language. Drop in and try out your Gaeilge in a relaxed environment. Fáilte roimh chách.

Oktoberfest 2016: On Sat 29th Oct – food & drink festival with a roast pig on a spit. Raffle tickets are limited to 500 and this includes entry on the night. Funds raised will be used to upgrade audio visual equipment (including a giant big screen for match days)

AGM: This members meeting will take place in the club hall on Thursday 10th November 2016.

Helmets & Hurls: If you have any helmets and/or hurls that are in good working order and are no longer used by your family members they we will be gratefully accepted by the academy to help alleviate the pressure on gear due to the significant numbers that are turning up every Saturday morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lotto: The numbers last week were 11, 15, 28, 29 & 36. There was 2 winner Anne & Jamie McNally and Stephen Farrelly each getting €1,295. The jackpot will be €2370 on Tuesday evening.
